SASA constitutes the great majority of Turkey’s production capacity in the sectors of polyester fiber, filament yarn and polymers. As SASA’s Fiber department produces for three different sectors including Textile, Technical Textile, Comfort and Filling Fiber Sectors, SASA’s Filament Yarn Department produces POY and texturized yarns for rug, automotive and especially textile sectors. Besides, SASA’s Specialty Polymers and Chemicals department produces for the textile, film and packaging sectors, industrial sectors, engineering polymers and plastic sectors.

SASA’s shares were offered to public on 1 November 1996. As of February 2025, 52.03% of the company’s shares are publicly traded on the BIST YILDIZ market. The indexes in which the company is included are as follows: BIST CHEM., PETROL, PLASTIC / BIST LIQUID 10 EX BANKS / BIST 500 / BIST INDUSTRIALS / BIST 30 / BIST 50 / BIST SUSTAINABILITY / BIST 100 / BIST ADANA / BIST ALL SHARES / BIST STARS
SASA’s financial results are prepared in compliance with the notice provisions Serial II, 14.1 of Capital Markets Board (SPK – Sermaye Piyasası Kurulu ).
The financial statements and the board of directors activity reports are prepared and presented to public for every three months including March, June, September and December periods.
All the raw materials that SASA uses are petroleum-derived products and the most frequently used ones among these are as follows: Paraxylene (Px), Methanol (MeoH), Monoethyleneylycol(MEG), Pure Terephalic Acid (PTA), 2 Ethly Hexanol (TEH), 1.4 Butanediol (BDO)
For the period between January 1 2024 and December 31 2024 , about 23% of the sales of fiber, filament yarn and POY products by SASA belong to overseas sales; 77% of these are for domestic sales. As for SPC, the overseas sales constitute 32% and the domestic sales constitute 68% of the total sales.
As of December 31 2024, SASA has 3.804 employees.
SASA's main operations are carried out in its headquarters located in Adana. In addition, SASA also has a tank farm that is located in Iskenderun, and liaison offices located in Ankara and Istanbul.
For the period between January 1 2024 and December 31 2024 , of the sales revenue of SASA, 72% are in USD, 27% are in Euro and 1% is in TL.
